Hurricane Irma

British Virgin Islands, Caribbean | United Kingdom

Several recreational boats are reined in by a floating line
Hurricane Irma passed directly over the British Virgin Islands and destroyed numerous ferries, cargo vessels, and marina fleets. Resolve Marine mobilized a salvage team and crane barge to the island in order to help initial response efforts. Resolve Marine's teams began work prior to the airport, any hotels, or any freight services opening to the island.

The team salvaged numerous wrecks including four ferry boats, multiple yachts, a sailing trimaran, and marine docks. Resolve Marine worked directly for boat owners, insurance companies, and for the port authority. The team was capable of handling any wreck and was self-sufficient from local resources.
