Salt Island, BVI
The container RO/RO vessel MV TROPIC SUN grounded on the West side of Salt Island, bordering the RMS Rhone Marine Park. Due to the impending hurricane season, a thorough and speedy lightering and towing job ensued with minimal effects to the marine park. A comprehensive dive survey was conducted post removal to evaluate damages for the owners prior to vessel release.
