Salvage & Marine Firefighting

Salvage and Marine Firefighting (SMFF) in the United States is regulated by the U.S. Coast Guard across 41 Captain of the Port (COTP) zones.

Resolve Marine has been recognized as a SMFF provider in all COTP zones since the inception of OPA 90. We maintain 21 response depots in the U.S. and U.S. territories, each dedicated to OPA 90 SMFF response and each strategically located for rapid deployment of equipment and personnel. We work with trusted response partners worldwide to augment resources when needed.

All SMFF equipment is owned and maintained, including fire pumps and hydraulic power units and hoses packaged in Conex boxes ready for deployment by air, truck or sea.

Environmental response equipment includes mechanical recovery equipment — skimmers, pumps, boom, temporary storage and dispersants. Each depot is physically inspected, and equipment maintained regularly.
