A vessel suffered an engine room fire while sailing 50 nautical miles off the coast of California. Resolve Marine was engaged by Eastern Pacific Shipping under an established SMFF agreement to respond to the fire. Resolve Marine mobilized a firefighting team and multiple support vessels to assist and safely tow the disabled ship into the Port of Oakland, California.

Once safely alongside, Resolve Marine conducted the needed fire overhaul in the engine room, assisted in removal of hazmat onboard and restored power to the vessel and containers. After the client discharged the cargo on board, Resolve Marine prepared the vessel for a dead ship tow and chartered a tug to bring the vessel from California, USA to Busan, South Korea for permanent repairs.
