A vessel suffered an engine room fire while sailing 50 nm off the coast of California. Resolve Marine was activated by Eastern Pacific Shipping under an established SMFF agreement to respond to the fire. Resolve Marine mobilized a fire team and multiple support vessels to assist the vessel and safely tow the disabled ship into the Port of Oakland, California.

Once safely alongside, Resolve Marine conducted the needed fire overhaul in the engine room, assisted in removal of hazmat onboard, and restored power to the vessel and containers. After the client discharged the cargo onboard, Resolve Marine prepared the vessel for a dead ship tow and chartered a tug to bring the vessel from Oakland, USA to Busan, South Korea for permanent repairs.
