Daniel Dettor has been in the salvage industry for 17 years, working in various capacities at Resolve Marine including commercial management and business development. He joined the company in 2007 and for five years was based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida before moving to London, United Kingdom. In 2019 Dettor was appointed General Manager, Europe and in 2024 promoted to Director, Business Development with oversight of Government Relations, Client Services and Brand, Marketing and Communications.
Accomplishments during his tenure at the company include playing a role in establishing Resolve Marine's OPA 90 and China SPRO divisions, and maintaining and growing relationships with key clients, including shipowners, marine insurers, resource partners and government authorities. He is a regular speaker at conferences and client events and was appointed to co-lead the company's ESG Task Force in 2023.
