When the recovery bid went out, another salvage contractor proposed to cut the vessel into pieces on-site creating a total financial and property loss. Resolve Marine proposed a plan to refloat the superyacht and a mobilize a team, special equipment, secure necessary permits and retain an on-site coral relocation expert.
Winning the bid, Resolve Marine's comprehensive salvage operation employed various re-floating techniques and critical damage repairs that enabled a tug to tow the superyacht into open water. A heavy-lift vessel then redelivered the superyacht to its owners. Resolve Marine also conducted a grounding-site dive survey to ensure all vessel debris was removed, protecting the coral reef .
