Sustainability is not just a commitment for Resolve Marine, it’s part of our identity.
Our stakeholders have a vested interest in both what we do for them, and what they do for us. And increasingly, customers want to work with Resolve Marine because our approach is aligned with their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) values.
Our Sustainability Platform
We believe that transparency with our stakeholders adds accountability to our actions, and over time, creates a strong communications platform from which to advance and add value across our ESG commitments.
- Environmental Stewardship. For every emergency response, vessel salvage and wreck removal project, our aim is to minimize damage to the environment, property and cargo. Environmental management is often what we tackle first and last.
- Social Actions. We are committed to greater gender equality and female empowerment across our business and industry. In local communities where we live and work, we provide humanitarian relief and make donations to causes aligned with our industry.
- Governance Best Practices. Resolve Marine promotes governance through accountability, transparency, risk management, compliance, responsible decision-making and policies that include a Code of Conduct and Whistleblower Hotline.
UN SDG Commitments, Targets and Progress
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) are an internationally recognized set of standards. Resolve Marine uses UN SDGs as a guiding framework where we can make the most impact to address the world’s biggest sustainable development challenges.
Sustainability Reporting
- In our 2024 Sustainability Report, we’ve gone beyond just committing to UN SDGs, we’ve established targets and report progress across local and global efforts.
- We are a member of the International Salvage Union (ISU), an organization of 55 marine salvage companies from more than 30 countries. ISU publishes services that member companies provide to vessel casualties in its Annual Pollution Prevention Survey.
- Resolve Marine donates to community programs, education, marine and wildlife nonprofit organizations at local, regional and national levels.
