Cargo Barge

In November 2019, Resolve Marine was contracted to assist with the refloat, repair, and redelivery of a 420ft cargo barge grounded while transiting the remote Discovery Passage off the coast of British Columbia.  Mobilizing a salvage team to the Campbell River area, Resolve commenced a survey and engineering analysis that included a dewatering plan to shift ballast water inducing a port list.  After the barge was refloated, the towing vessel accompanied by Resolve’s 3-man salvage crew moved the cargo barge to safer water where the barge was transferred to a berth in Duncan bay.
