Port Suez, Egypt
A Container ship was reported to have run aground at Suez Bay, Egypt, while transiting under pilotage. Resolve Marine was notified by the hull underwriters to assist and provide the necessary calculations and guidance to lighter and refloat the casualty. A salvage team from the Netherlands was mobilized and proceeded onboard to execute the plan. After a successful lightering operation, conducted with the assistance of local barges, within three days the vessel was refloated where she continued her passage after completing underwater inspections and re-loading of her cargo.
