The 800′ multipurpose general cargo vessel MARIELLE BOLTEN laden with steel products stranded at the entrance to Puerto Plata during adverse weather conditions. RESOLVE and JV partners, Svitzer Salvage, lightered approximately 5,000 tons and refloated the vessel. She was stabilized and towed to Freeport, Bahamas where salvors coordinated the offloading of the full cargo prior to redelivering the vessel to her owner on the dry dock.
