Hurricane Ida Barge Response

Resolve Marine was contracted to assist in the refloat of two deck barges stranded during Hurricane Ida in Port Fourchon, LA. The two 160’ deck barges, partially laden with cargo, were pushed by the storm surge several hundred feet into the environmentally sensitive marshes. Utilizing Resolve Marine’s patented 300-ton chain pullers, the two barges were hauled back into the Bayou and safely returned to the vessel owners.
