Marine Service Centers Formed at Resolve Marine
January 6, 2025 – Fort Lauderdale – Resolve Marine, a global marine solutions provider, today announced that it has established Marine Service Centers, a new division that offers comprehensive marine solutions to clients in diverse industries, including oil and gas, utilities, construction and salvage and emergency response. Marine Service Centers unites the company’s Pacific Northwest facility in the Port of Tacoma, Washington, a shipyard and drydock in the Port of Dutch Harbor, Alaska, the Theodore, Alabama eight-acre waterfront location and Resolve Aviation out of Anchorage, Alaska. Led by A.W. McAfee, Director, Marine Service Centers and an industry veteran with more than 30 years of marine services experience, Resolve Marine Service Centers provide a wide range of services.  
  • Commercial Diving. An extensive range of commercial diving solutions, services and support by certified, experienced divers and state-of-the-art equipment. Services include underwater inspection, cleaning and repair, ship husbandry and underwater welding.
  • Marine Construction and Industrial Solutions. Tailored solutions for construction and dock repair, including pile installation, outfall repair, port, pier and harbor inspection, and repair, dredging and demolition.
  • Marine Salvage, Emergency and Environmental Response. A fleet of barges and heavy-lift and specialized equipment are ready to deploy. Salvage masters, logistics specialists, OSHA-certified mariners, commercial divers, and environmental technicians are on call 24/7.
  • Vessel Charters and Marine Support. To facilitate transportation needs, we provide reliable vessel charters and marine support services, ensuring the seamless transport of supplies, freight, and personnel. 
In connection with the formation of this new division, Adam Buffington has been promoted to Manager, Marine Service Centers, Gulf of Mexico to oversee the Theodore facility and personnel. From Theodore, Buffington will focus on developing new business in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, specifically marine services, with a focus on commercial diving. He joined Resolve Marine in 2020 and most recently led the Dutch Harbor, Alaska facility as Facility Manager. Scott Rader, Facility Manager, Theodore, who joined Resolve Marine in 2022, reports to Buffington. Eric Freeman has been promoted to Facility Manager, Dutch Harbor. Freeman has 15 years of marine service experience; he joined Resolve Marine in 2021.
