The chartered flights enable medical supplies and teams to safely reach Alaska communities in Akutan, Sandpoint, Dutch Harbor, and Cold bay where close to 2,000 fishery workers have received vaccinations. To reach the offshore processing vessels, nurses and workers must transfer to helicopters Akutan, Alaska.
