The four-legged jack-up lift barge TERAS LYZA capsized while under tow from Vietnam to Taiwan. Under salvage contract, Resolve Marine responded with emergency towing assets and made a salvage connection to the casualty. The capsized rig was towed to safe refuge in the Philippines where an underwater inspection was carried out and the rig was stabilized. RESOLVE prepared a salvage plan and maintained stability/buoyancy of the rig while interested parties decided on whether the vessel would be salvaged or declared a CTL. Resolve Marine also completed the removal of approx. 44 cubic meters of fuel oil and upon declaration of a CTL. The TERAS LYZA sank in the South China Sea while under tow.
