Anchorage, AK – Resolve Marine, a global leader in specialized marine services, emergency response, salvage, and recovery, today announced the expansion of non-tank vessel cleanup contractor (NVCC) coverage areas in Alaska. Under the company’s compliance division, 1-Call Alaska, Resolve Marine has added Bristol Bay, Kodiak, Prince William Sound, and the Aleutian Islands sub areas where it provides OSRO coverage meeting the State of Alaska NVCC requirements. The new coverage augments Dutch Harbor, Kodiak, Adak, Akutan, Sand Point, Seward, Dillingham, Valdez, Whittier, Cold Bay, St. Paul, Seward, and all major ports in Southern COTP (Captain of the Port) zone in Western Alaska. The expansion follows the company’s commissioning of new oil spill response depots in Alaska.

1-Call Alaska is a US Coast Guard-approved Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO). By expanding coverage to non-tank vessels over 400 GT operating within three nautical miles of the Alaskan shore and covering tank vessel oil spill response federal APC coverage, vessels transiting the Alaskan EEZ can be covered by a single service provider: 1-Call Alaska.

Todd Duke, general manager, Compliance Services said, “Continued reinvestment and expansion in our business has enabled us to extend federal coverage into state waters for vessels calling on multiple Alaskan ports. This new service is in direct response to our growing client base and increased vessel traffic in the area.” Duke added, “Bringing cost-effective solutions that allows clients to both lower their regulatory compliance costs and overall emergency response costs in the event of an incident is key to our mission. We offer comprehensive coverage for vessels working in Alaska state waters, particularly fishing vessel fleets.”

1-Call Alaska’s team of environmental experts and emergency responders have worked in some of the most remote locations in the world and bring extensive, skilled expertise to Alaska’s remote and diverse onshore communities and offshore landscape.
