1-Call Alaska

Alaska 24-Hour Emergency Response +1.907.243.0069

The 1-Call Alaska difference is prevention and early intervention.

A Resolve Marine company, 1-Call Alaska is an Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO) and Salvage and Marine Firefighting (SMFF) provider in Alaska, covering Western Alaska and Prince William Sound Captain of the Port (COTP) zones, geographies regulated by the USCG.

With 45 years of experience, Resolve Marine’s 1-Call Alaska division understands the characteristics of Alaska, where oil spill response is challenging. The geographic breadth of the state, subarctic climates, strong ocean currents, high winds, limited infrastructure, and sensitive habitats for marine mammals, all require specialized response capabilities.

And while not all maritime incidents can be prevented, we aim to minimize the environmental impact through conventional salvage, source control techniques and engineering assessments of vessel stability. Prevention and early intervention are crucial because once a pollutant product reaches the water, it is 50 times more expensive to clean up.

If oil or contaminant is released, we use conventional spill response and recovery processes. When necessary, we activate skimmers, ocean-going and airborne equipment, and environmental response personnel that conduct damage assessment and commence open water recovery.
