Resolve Marine, a global leader in innovative marine solutions, announced today the completion of a revitalized Fort Lauderdale facility and dive warehouse, bringing newly streamlined marine solutions to the company’s global emergency response and project work.
A Florida-based team, part of the company’s Shared Resources Department, led improvements to the 30,000 square foot facility that sits on two acres bound by the Port Everglades and Fort Lauderdale International Airport. The refurbishment included optimizing an inventory management system of over 6,500 assets, specialized equipment, and response packages ready to deploy worldwide. The warehouse crew, led by Facility Manager Rich Valencio, includes a dedicated emergency response department that has a unique set of assets to support global marine response, as well as ensure a comprehensive inventory of project-based equipment to address broader scopes of work. Conex containers include response consumables and specialized component packages that are continuously updated as newer tools and technologies become available. Input and expertise from Resolve Marine’s Strike Team, a core group of responders with specialized skills and extensive salvage experience, is factored into package components as a best practice.
Resolve Marine’s Fort Lauderdale facility typically accounts for a majority of all equipment deployments, which in 2024 totaled nearly 75 major operations and 25 emergency responses. The facility is part of a global network of warehouses and response depots located in the U.S. and U.S. territories, the Netherlands, Mumbai, Singapore and China. Within Shared Resources is a global logistics group, giving Resolve Marine a competitive advantage by reducing cost and transport times: the team navigates customs requirements and coordinates equipment and deliverables quickly without the added cost of third-party intermediaries. New structures, safety walkways, lighting and signage round out improvements and align with Resolve Marine’s global brand.
Unique to the location is a 6,250 square foot best-in-class global dive facility, also part of investments made in Fort Lauderdale. The dive facility includes state-of-the-art portable dive stations outfitted in-house that can be transported as mobile diving platforms, and a dive chamber that is deployed for dives of 150+ feet deep. Resolve Marine’s salvage diving division is led by Global Dive Manager Paul Brann, with over 16 years of salvage diving experience. Under Brann, the company oversees all maintenance and diving recertifcations in accordance with regulatory standards.
Commenting on today’s announcement Hugh Leckey, Jr., who heads Shared Resources said, “This facility is optimized for efficiency and speed. The local team has more than 150 years of salvage experience, has streamlined systems and completes inventory controls in order to operate at a level that meets the demands of our customers.” Leckey oversees all of Resolve Marine’s equipment and floating assets added, “I see great potential in the company’s continued growth and expansion.”
