Peng Hu Tao Island | Taiwan, Province of China

Leaking LPG intensified the explosion risk, rendering refloating and towing impossible. Consequently, the vessel's removal, classified as a wreck, underwent a competitive bidding process. TMC Marine Consultants of London were entrusted with selecting the most qualified salvor.
Resolve Marine secured the contract and promptly initiated the mobilization of personnel and equipment. The project comprised two distinct phases: cargo removal and wreck removal. Resolve Marine meticulously devised a salvage plan, gaining approval from the Taiwanese government for the safe extraction of the LPG-1 Butene cargo.
The vessel's cargo tanks underwent careful detachment from their supports and were subsequently towed to Penghu Island for proper disposal. A dedicated team of cutters diligently executed these operations, loading each section onto a deck barge for efficient transit to the recycling facility. Despite grappling with numerous weather-related delays during the challenging Pacific Typhoon season, Resolve Marine successfully completed the project, prioritizing safety and environmental preservation.
