- Founder Joseph Farrell Jr. Appointed Chair of Resolve Marine’s Board of Directors -
February 26, 2024 – Fort Lauderdale, Fla. USA – Resolve Marine, a global leader in ship and vessel salvage, emergency response, and specialized marine services, today announced that Joseph Farrell III has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Joseph Farrell Jr., founder of Resolve Marine, was appointed Chair of the company’s Board of Directors. Both appointments are effective immediately.
Since his appointment to Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer in January 2023, Farrell III has been hands-on across all aspects of Resolve Marine’s business. He has met with clients and prospects in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, led the expansion of Resolve Academy, the company’s marine training and firefighting school, launched a new facility in Tacoma, WA, expanding the company’s presence in the U.S. West Coast, established a government relations department, and appointed a new chief financial officer and chief human resources officer. His leadership team oversees line and support operations worldwide. Mr. Farrell brings 18 years of experience in field operations at Resolve Marine and has led and worked on projects around the world. He holds a B.S. in marine engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, an M.S. in ocean engineering from Florida Institute of Technology, and an MBA in finance from Cornell University.
