Comprehensive Marine Construction Services Support Critical Infrastructure
Our crews set bridge spans, drive and repair marine piles, replace mooring dolphins and fender systems, and install subsea foundations. We also perform the controlled demolition and dismantling of marine structures that have failed or reached the end of their service life - bridges, jetties, loading platforms, and port cranes - including engineered explosive demolition where a structure has to come down along a constrained path. The lift and demolition plans are engineered in house by our marine engineering team, and the barges, cranes, and rigging are ours, not brokered. That combination is why general contractors, terminal operators, and port authorities call us for the scope they can't self-perform.
Marine construction capabilities
- Engineered heavy lift and crane barge operations
Heavy lift over water is our core discipline. We operate our own crane barges and sheerlegs, including the RMG 400 - a 165 ft × 54 ft deck barge with a folding A-frame and a 225-ton main hook - and the RMG 1000, a 300 ft × 100 ft barge carrying a 450-ton American 11320 and a 225-ton American 9310 crawler crane. Every critical lift is modeled, rigged, and moored to an engineered plan, with load cells and adjustable rigging where load distribution matters. - Marine piling, fendering, and berth repair
Pile driving and extraction, augercast and caisson foundations, underwater grouting, fender and fender pile replacement, and the fabrication, removal, and reinstatement of mooring dolphins, catwalks, and access structures. Pile cap and concrete repair, ladders, and marine utilities are handled on the same mobilization, which keeps a berth out of service for days rather than seasons. - Marine demolition and controlled structure removal
Demolition over water is a distinct discipline, and one of the narrowest in the industry. We remove bridges and bridge spans, jetties, loading platforms, mooring structures, catwalks, pipelines, and ship-to-shore and bulk handling cranes - using chain cutting, diamond wire, underwater cutting, engineered grillage and support cradles, and our patented chain-puller systems for loads beyond conventional crane capacity. Where a structure must fall along a constrained path, we design and manage engineered explosive demolition with structural monitoring and applied toppling force, so the collapse direction is controlled rather than predicted. Where a structure is already unstable, we stabilize it first and dismantle it in sequence. - Subsea and underwater construction
Surface-supplied commercial diving, ROV survey and inspection, underwater welding and cutting, grouting, cofferdams, hot tapping, dredging and airlift excavation, and subsea foundation and structure installation. Divers and ROV operators work directly off our barges, so subsea verification happens in the lift sequence rather than a separate mobilization. - Marine construction support for contractors
A large share of our work is performed as a subcontractor to heavy civil and general contractors who need over-water capability: access barges, crane platforms, mooring spreads, marine transport, pile support, and lift engineering. We are accustomed to working inside another contractor's schedule, permits, and safety program.
