A fish processing vessel caught fire while docked at the Port of Tacoma in Washington. The vessel was carrying 9,800 pounds of liquid ammonia, 200 pounds of chlorine and 48,500 gallons of diesel fuel. Resolve Marine was mobilized as the SMFF provider and working with the Tacoma Fire Department, the fire was extinguished. The vessel was then stabilized and debunkered. Chlorine cannisters were identified and safely offloaded. Resolve Marine also assisted in safely offloading the liquid ammonia.
