Resolve Marine Adds ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Certifications

May 13, 2024 – Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA – Resolve Marine, a global leader in ship and vessel salvage, emergency response, and specialized marine services, today announced that it has been certified to ISO 14001, environmental management, and ISO 45001, occupational health and safety, The certifications add to the company's quality management certification: ISO 9001.

Commenting on the new certifications, Jeff McCormick, Senior HSEQ Manager , said, “This is an important milestone for Resolve Marine. The certifications demonstrate to our stakeholders a dedication to minimizing our environmental impact and complying with global regulations and affirms our commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment worldwide. Together with our existing ISO 9001 certificate, our Integrated Management System is the basis for efficiency and effectiveness.”

ISO 14001 underscores the company's stand on being eco-conscious. Resolve Marine is taking active steps to minimize its environmental footprint, meet legal requirements, and set goals for greener practices. The company's efforts include containing and managing oil spills when responding to emergencies and projects, investing in new equipment with a greener footprint, and managing chemical use and waste better. This certification acknowledges a comprehensive approach to environmental stewardship.

ISO 45001 acknowledges a commitment and actions to keeping workers safe from accidents and illnesses. From this framework, Resolve Marine integrates safety to ensure that workflows are tailored to the unique challenges of marine salvage, marine services, and emergency response work.

Resolve Marine recently announced commitments to three United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 14 – Life Below Water; SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities; and SDG 5 – Gender Equality.
